Easy generic combo
The best generic combo in Rival Schools is, a simple LP,LP,HP, from which you can chain into larger combos and super moves. For example, after the last HP, you can press down-forward on the stick and either HP or HK to launch your opponent into the air, then jump up to add an other three or four hits to your combo. Another combo to try is to press forward and HP, and then go into a special move such as Boman's repeating air punch or Hideo's super uppercut.
Extra Characters
Each time you finish a one-player game, one hidden fighter will be unlocked. At the Character Select screen, put the cursor on the box under Kyoko, press Cir, then press Left or Right to select any of the unlocked hidden characters.
Alternate Costumes
To get Alternate costumes for Tiffany, Hinata, Natsu or Kyoko complete the game once and then use L2 to select your character.
